The Goddess Retreat

A 14-Day Immersive Desert Retreat —
Deeper Into the Desert, Deeper Into Yourself.
21.3-4.4.2027 (Language: ENG)

Is it time to stop — and experience something extraordinary? To step away from everything familiar and give yourself the space to reconnect with who you truly are. To awaken the Goddess within you. To connect more deeply with the wisdom of your heart, strengthen your intuition and open yourself to guidance, change and new possibilities. To feel stronger. More confident. More connected to yourself. Knowing your worth, what you need, what you desire — and remembering the radiant woman you have always been beneath the layers of who you thought you had to be.

Are you ready to step into the desert, where a new chapter can begin? In the ancient desert of Wadi Rum, surrounded by breathtaking silence and untouched beauty, we embark on an unforgettable journey together. Staying in our own private Bedouin camp, an intimate group of women comes together in sacred sisterhood — a space where you can be fully seen, fully yourself and deeply supported.

We leave the noise of the modern world behind and step away from the constant distractions of everyday life. Without internet access, we have the rare opportunity to slow down, be fully present and reconnect with ourselves, each other and the world around us. Away from screens, notifications and the endless stream of information, we give our nervous systems space to settle and our minds room to become quieter — allowing more space for rest, clarity and simply being in the here and now.

During these two weeks, we create space to explore and gently work with shame, fear, old wounds and the patterns and limitations that may have been holding us back. We meditate in breathtaking places beneath the desert sun. We dance and sleep under the stars. We connect deeply with nature and listen to the guidance within us. Through ceremonies, we explore what we are ready to let go of and create space for something new. We give voice to our heart's deepest desires, share our inner worlds, step beyond our comfort zones, move our bodies and allow them to speak their wisdom.

And there is so much more.

We explore the hidden treasures of Wadi Rum — secluded places far beyond the usual tourist trails. We discover Bedouin culture and traditions, share music, ride and connect with lovingly cared-for camels, hike sacred mountains, experience traditional Bedouin tea rituals, laugh, play, rest and simply enjoy being alive. There is nothing you need to achieve here. Transformation can happen in many ways. Sometimes through deep inner work. Sometimes through silence. Through laughter, adventure, connection, rest or simply having the space to hear yourself again.

This is not an ordinary trip.

It is an experience you will remember forever.

A journey of beauty, love, adventure and sisterhood.

A portal into something new.

And this journey is not for everyone.

It is for the women who feel ready to shed their old skin and step into a new chapter. For those who long to stand stronger in who they are, shine their light and allow themselves to be truly seen.

To stop making themselves smaller.

To stop apologizing for who they are.

And to become fully, unapologetically themselves.

Retreat Program

14 Days of Desert, Adventure & Goddess Magic

We have a full program planned for our two weeks together, but you won't find a strict day-by-day schedule here. In the desert, we stay flexible.

Weather, conditions and the natural rhythm of Wadi Rum may shape when and how things happen. Plans can change, and we leave room for spontaneous adventures and unexpected moments along the way. Everything listed below is part of what we have planned — just not necessarily in this order.

Day 1 — Welcome to Another World

This is where our story begins.

We arrive in Wadi Rum and make our way to the Bedouin camp that will be our home for the next two weeks. There is nothing you need to accomplish today. Unpack, wander around, climb the dune, drink your first glass of Bedouin tea or simply sit and take it all in.

As evening falls, we gather for our Opening Ceremony — a moment to arrive, meet the women sharing this journey and leave the outside world behind.

Then we let the desert night take over.

Experience: Arrival in Wadi Rum · Bedouin camp · Chillax time · Opening Ceremony · First night under the stars

Day 2 — Jeep Safari by Day, Full Moon by Night

Today we go exploring.

We jump into our jeeps and spend the entire day discovering the landscapes that have made Wadi Rum legendary. Towering sandstone mountains, sweeping valleys, enormous dunes, ancient inscriptions, natural rock formations and narrow canyons — with plenty of opportunities to get out, climb, wander and explore along the way.

Your first proper taste of just how enormous Wadi Rum really is.

And then the sun goes down. Tonight belongs to the Full Moon. Music comes on. Shoes can come off. We dance, laugh, celebrate and let ourselves be gloriously unserious beneath the moonlit mountains of Wadi Rum. This is our Goddess night

Experience: Full-day jeep safari · Wadi Rum highlights · Sand dunes · Ancient sites ·  Epic landscapes · Moonlit desert

Day 3 — The First Goddess Day

After yesterday’s adventure, today we stay close to home.

This is our first full workshop day at camp, with space for our Goddess work to begin unfolding. Workshops, conversations, reflection and whatever feels right for the group will weave through the day — but there will also be plenty of room simply to be.

Between sessions, disappear with a book, climb into the rocks, nap in your tent, sit in the sun or join whatever spontaneous camp life happens around you.

No rushing. No packed timetable. No pressure to participate in everything.

Experience: Goddess workshops · Women’s circles · Camp life · Reflection · Free time · Space to simply be

Day 4 — Camels & Canyons

Today we trade four wheels for four legs.

We meet our camels and set off for a relaxed ride through Wadi Rum, experiencing for a little while the way people have travelled through this landscape for generations.

Back on our own feet, the adventure continues into the canyons. We walk between towering sandstone walls, follow narrow passages and discover the hidden world tucked between Wadi Rum’s mountains.

A day for dusty feet, camel laughs and curiosity.

Experience: Camel ride · Canyon exploration · Walking adventure · Sandstone landscapes · Bedouin desert life

Day 5 — Follow What Calls You

Another day with nowhere else we need to go.

We stay at camp for workshops and Goddess time, allowing the day to unfold without trying to fill every hour. Some moments may go deeper. Others may be playful, creative or completely spontaneous.

And between them, the desert is yours.

Take yourself for a walk. Find somewhere quiet. Talk for hours. Drink tea. Write. Laugh. Sleep.

Everything is an invitation, never an obligation.

Experience: Goddess workshops · Creativity · Connection · Free time · Desert wandering · Bedouin camp life

Day 6 — Let the Bedouins Decide

Today comes with a question mark — on purpose.

We hand the day over to our Bedouin hosts and see what happens.

Perhaps they have somewhere they want to show us. Perhaps an idea appears over breakfast. Perhaps we head out in the jeeps, visit somewhere unexpected, climb something, meet someone or end up doing something that was never written into the program.

This is the beauty of having two weeks here instead of racing through Wadi Rum with a checklist. Some adventures are better when you don't know they're coming.

Experience: Bedouin surprise day · Spontaneous adventure · Local life · Improvised plans · Expect the unexpected

Day 7 — Workshops and wandering

By now, you know how desert time works.

Today we stay based at camp, with Goddess workshops and plenty of openness around them. We allow the mood, energy and moment to shape the day rather than deciding in advance exactly what every hour should contain.

Maybe you want company. Maybe you want your own little corner of Wadi Rum. Maybe something spontaneous happens.

Follow what feels good.

Experience: Goddess workshops · Camp day · Connection · Personal time · Spontaneity · Desert freedom

Day 8 — Beyond the Beaten Path

Pack a small bag. We’re not coming back tonight.

Our Bedouin guides take us far beyond Wadi Rum’s familiar routes, heading south into increasingly remote wilderness towards the Saudi Arabian border.

This is a different kind of jeep safari — fewer familiar stops, more exploration, vast empty landscapes and the freedom to see where the day takes us.

And when night comes, there is no camp waiting.

Our Bedouin hosts create a traditional nomadic-style overnight place in the desert. No tents. Just mattresses, warm blankets, food cooked in the wilderness, a fire and the night sky above us. Tonight, the desert is our bedroom.

Experience: Off-the-beaten-path jeep safari · Remote southern Wadi Rum · Saudi border region · Nomadic Bedouin night · Campfire · Sleeping under the stars

Day 9 — To the Top of Jordan

Wake up in the wilderness, because today we’re going even higher.

Our destination is Jabal Umm Addaami — the highest mountain in Jordan.

This is a full-day scrambling adventure through the wild southern landscape. We make our way up the mountain, gaining height until the desert stretches endlessly beneath us and the views reach across the border towards Saudi Arabia.

There will be rocks. There will be dusty shoes. There will probably be moments of whose idea was this?

And then there is the summit.

After coming back down, we remain in the wilderness for another night beneath the stars.

No rushing back to civilisation just yet.

Experience: Jabal Umm ad Dami · Jordan’s highest mountain · Full-day scrambling · Saudi Arabia views · Remote wilderness · Second night under the stars

Day 10 — Allow Life

By now, we’ve spent two nights sleeping wild in the remote desert — and today, we let Wadi Rum decide what happens next.

If the weather is beautiful and the desert invites us to stay, we may simply remain out there for another day and night. Explore somewhere new, find a beautiful place to settle, cook over the fire and enjoy the rare luxury of having absolutely nowhere else to be. Or we may slowly make our way back to camp, where hot showers, fresh clothes and a relaxed day of resetting await.

No need to decide just yet. That’s the beauty of desert time.

Experience: Wild desert living · Spontaneous exploration · Bedouin life · Another possible night under the stars · Or return to camp & reset

Day 11 — Slow Down

Back at our desert home, today we slow things down.

We gather for workshops and whatever experiences are calling us that day, with plenty of space left around them for camp life, wandering, conversations, laughter and doing absolutely nothing if that’s what you feel like.

After days of wild adventure, there’s something rather wonderful about having nowhere to go. The desert is still right outside the door — today, we simply enjoy it from home.

Experience: Goddess workshops · Women’s time · Bedouin camp life · Free time · Desert wandering · Space to simply be

Day 12 — Breath in the Desert
Silent Meditation

Today, we stay at camp and turn down the volume.

No adventures to chase, nowhere to be and no need to fill the silence. For those who wish, this can be a day of silent meditation — stepping away from unnecessary conversation and giving yourself the space to simply be with yourself and the desert.

There are no rules about what that needs to look like. Find a quiet place among the rocks, walk alone, write, rest, watch the changing light or simply sit and listen to the silence around you.

Speak when you need to. Be silent when you don’t.

Experience: Optional silence · Meditation · Solitude · Slow desert day · Inner stillness · Space to simply be

Day 13 — Our Last Full Day in Wadi Rum

No packing the experience away just yet. We still have a whole day in the desert — and we intend to live it.

After yesterday’s silence, today we open the doors again. There may be music, laughter, wandering, a spontaneous adventure with our Bedouin friends or one last place in Wadi Rum we suddenly decide we need to see. Or perhaps we simply stay close to camp and enjoy the freedom of having nowhere else to be.

There is no need to spend the day looking backwards or thinking about tomorrow. We’re still here.

Only as evening falls do we gather for our Closing Ceremony — together beneath the desert sky, bringing our Goddess journey to a close in our own way.

And after that? One last night around the fire, under the stars, in the place that has been our home.

Experience: Desert freedom · Spontaneous adventure · Bedouin camp life · Goddess Closing Ceremony · Campfire · One last night beneath the stars

Day 14 — Desert Dust to Red Sea

Today we swap red sand for the blue waters of the Red Sea and head to Aqaba, Jordan’s colourful seaside city.

Palm trees, bustling streets, little shops and markets, the smell of spices and food drifting from local restaurants — after our days in the desert, Aqaba brings us into a completely different side of Jordan.

The day is ours to enjoy. Wander through the souks, hunt for treasures and souvenirs, taste local food, sip something cold by the sea, try a shisha or simply find a sunny spot and watch the city go by.

No workshops. No agenda. Just a fun, easy day by the Red Sea.

Experience: Aqaba · Red Sea · Local markets · Shopping · Arabic flavours · Cafés & restaurants · Shisha · Seaside chill

A Note About the Program

This itinerary is a guideline rather than a fixed schedule.

Life in the desert moves with nature, and we move with it. The order of the days and activities may change depending on weather, wind, local conditions or simply what makes the most sense at the time. Occasionally, an activity may also need to be adapted or replaced. In fact, there is only one day that definitely won’t move — the Full Moon. Even we can’t reschedule that one.

We respect the desert and never force a plan when nature tells us otherwise.

Come with an open mind, a little flexibility and a sense of adventure. Part of the experience is letting go of rigid schedules, trusting the journey and allowing the days to unfold as they are meant to.

Sometimes the unexpected becomes the best part of the story.

Meet Our Host and Facilitators

Experience. Culture. Connection.

Behind this retreat are three people with very different stories, backgrounds and strengths — brought together by a shared love for Wadi Rum and a desire to create something truly special for women.

Hussein brings a lifetime of knowledge of Wadi Rum, Bedouin culture and desert adventure. Marianne brings a rare connection between two worlds, shaped by years of living within the local Bedouin community and working in Wadi Rum tourism. And Anu brings the inner journey, guiding our Goddess workshops through her experience in transformational coaching, hypnotherapy and subconscious work.

Together with Hussein’s trusted Bedouin team, we take care of both sides of the journey: the adventure that happens around you and the journey that may unfold within you.

Three different perspectives. One unforgettable desert experience.

Come meet the people who will be sharing it with you.

Meet Hussein -
Your Bedouin Host

I’m Hussein, born and raised in Wadi Rum, and I’ve been welcoming travellers to the desert for more than 20 years.

Wadi Rum is my home, and during the retreat, my team and I are here to make it feel like your home too.

I host you at our Bedouin camp and take care of the practical side of life in the desert — from making sure you are comfortable and well fed to organising and guiding your adventures beyond camp. Whether we’re heading out by jeep, riding camels, hiking into the mountains or sleeping beneath the stars in the remote south, my responsibility is to make sure you are well looked after every step of the way.

I know Wadi Rum far beyond the familiar routes — its mountains, hidden valleys, canyons and the remote wilderness stretching towards the Saudi border. I’m also an official climbing guide, with decades of experience guiding visitors through this landscape.

But looking after our guests is about more than organising activities. It’s making sure there is always food on the table and tea on the fire. It’s knowing where to go, when to change the plan and when the weather is telling us to wait. It’s finding the perfect place for lunch in the middle of nowhere, preparing a warm place to sleep beneath the stars and making sure everyone feels comfortable and cared for.

I work alongside a trusted team of experienced local Bedouins who bring their own knowledge, skills and good humour to our days together.

The Goddess Retreat belongs to the women. Our role is to create a safe and welcoming home for you here in Wadi Rum, take care of you while you explore our desert, and make sure you have everything you need along the way.

You are our guests, and we are here to look after you.

Welcome to our home. Welcome to Wadi Rum.

Meet Marianne -

A Bridge Between Two Worlds

I’m Marianne, a Finn with a deeply personal connection to Jordan and the Bedouin community of Wadi Rum.

I lived in Jordan from 2011 to 2016, married to a local Bedouin and becoming part of a world very different from the one I had grown up in. I experienced Bedouin culture not as a visitor, but as a wife, mother and member of a local family — learning its traditions, religion, relationships and everyday rhythms from within. My connection to this world continues today through our daughter, her family and the relationships that remain part of my life.

I also worked in Wadi Rum tourism, running a Bedouin camp and tourism business together with my former husband and working as a desert guide. So Wadi Rum is a place I know not only through its landscapes, but through the everyday life happening behind them.

There are so many little things beneath the surface — traditions, social rules, gestures, expectations and wonderfully confusing quirks that nobody thinks to explain. For the Bedouins, many are simply obvious. Others might go unmentioned out of hospitality or politeness.

During our time together, I’ll help you read between those lines. I’ll share the little things I learned along the way: what is customary, what might be better avoided, why certain things happen the way they do and what may be going on behind moments that can seem completely puzzling through Western eyes. Think of me as your cultural bridge — helping you notice, understand and enjoy the little things that might otherwise remain hidden in plain sight.

My role also begins before we ever arrive in Jordan. I’ll be facilitating our group beforehand, helping you prepare not only practically, but culturally — particularly from the perspective of arriving in Wadi Rum as a Western woman. Once we’re there, I’ll also work closely with Hussein and his team behind the scenes. At certain times during the retreat, we’ll have the camp entirely to ourselves — just us women, with the privacy and freedom to hold our workshops and gatherings in our own space. During those times, I’ll take care of the practical side behind the scenes and stay connected with Hussein and his team, making sure anything we need is taken care of while our women-only space remains ours.

Meet Anu -
Your Goddess Program Facilitator

I'm Anu Diosa, a Finnish woman who has always loved exploring the world.

Through years of deep inner work and my own life transformation, I found myself walking alongside others on their transformational journeys. What excites me most is witnessing the amazing changes in people's lives when they step out of old stories rooted in fear, deepen their connection with who they truly are, and begin to live a more meaningful, happy and free life.

I'm a hypnotherapist and transformational coach. Over the years, I've explored and learned from a wide range of healing and therapeutic modalities, as well as spiritual and shamanic traditions and practices. My work also includes intuitive healing and energy work, and for the past five years, I've been facilitating a variety of therapeutic, healing and transformational spaces.

I've also always loved people, different cultures, beauty, art, animals and spending time in nature. I'm spontaneous, curious and love having fun, learning and exploring new things. For me, besides love, pure joy is one of the most important feelings we can experience. When we remember how to play, laugh, be curious and experience life with the openness of a child, everything feels a little more alive.

It's an honor to share these amazing and magical two weeks with you, and I can't wait for the beautiful journey we're about to embark on together! ❤️
